Selected successes include:
- Obtaining judgment that plaintiff insurer seeking restitution for policy funds paid take nothing on appeal of an adverse summary judgment. Warren E&P, Inc. v. Gotham Ins. Co., 368 S.W.3d 633 (Tex. App.–El Paso 2012, pet. filed).
- Reversal of a disgorgement judgment of over $4 million when the court of appeals enforced the parties’ release of future claims, including fraud. No. 14-11-00125-CV, Texas Standard Oil & Gas, L.P., Grimes Energy Co., and PetroVal, Inc v. Frankel Offshore Energy, Inc., 2012 WL 6725614 (Tex. App.–Houston [14th Dist.] Dec. 28, 2012) (n.p.h.).
- Affirming a summary judgment and favorable interpretation of an assignment of an oil and gas lease. Tex. Indep. Exploration, Ltd. v.
